SRINIVAS R. KAZA, MD

Dr. Kaza is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (FAAO-HNS) and is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (ABO-HNS) and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (FAAOA). Dr. Kaza grew up in Dover, Delaware in a US Air Force family. Dr. Kaza has been a physician at Lakeside ENT & Allergy since 2004. He is the senior managing partner and spearheads its strategic long term plans. He is the Founder and CEO of Lakeside Medical Management, the healthcare consulting firm that provides administrative, operational and HR management services across the various Lakeside organizations: ENT & Allergy, Audiology & Hearing, and Lakeside Cosmetic Center. His personal interests include cooking, travel, history and business entrepreneurship.

Dr. Kaza’s practice includes medical and surgical management of:

  • head and neck surgery

  • nasal/sinus disorders and surgery

  • ear surgery

  • thyroid and parathyroid surgery

  • otolaryngic allergy

  • pediatric ENT

  • snoring and sleep disorders
     
    Dr Kaza is Clinical Adjunct Faculty at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, RIT Physician Assistant Program in Rochester, LECOM School of Medicine, and the Primary Care Residency program at UMMC in Batavia. He is strongly committed to education and has authored and co-authored didactic teaching modules for the new Otolaryngology Core Curriculum (OCC) on Medical Professionalism, Business of Medicine, and Business Ethics, which will soon be incorporated into Otolaryngology residency training programs. He is interested in medical innovation and healthcare technology and is actively involved in several healthcare groups including Northwestern MDs in Business and the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs (SoPE). He is a former Thompson Health Foundation Board member and former Chairman of the Department of Surgery at F. F. Thompson Hospital. Dr. Kaza sits on the Accountable Health Partners ACO Board of Managers. Dr. Kaza is committed to preserving private practice medicine, especially important now as health system consolidations continue to affect access to ENT care throughout the Rochester region. He is actively involved in the AAO-HNS Otolaryngology Private Practice Section (OPPS).  He is proud to be a Lifetime Member of the AAO-HNS Millennium Society. He is also the Chair-Elect of the AAO-HNS Practice Management Education Committee.
